Programme & planning

Jong Metropole organises two projects each year: a Spring Tour (usually in March) and a Summer Tour (July / August). During these projects, Jong Metropole members get together for an intensive rehearsal period followed by a series of concerts in The Netherlands and sometimes (in case of the Summer Tour) abroad.

The projects below are currently being prepared:

Reunion (Summer Tour 2021)

During the Summer Tour, Jong Metropole presents a programme with orchestral pop and jazz standards and a new composition by Damiano Pascarelli, winner of the Rogier van Otterloo Award 2019. The concerts usually take place at special (outdoor) venues. Jong Metropole is planned to perform at the NJO Muziekzomer ("Music Summer") festival and at Young Euro Classics in Berlin (to be confirmed)

Auditions Registration for video auditions is no longer possible. Check Audition information for general information on auditions. These auditions will lead to the composition of Jong Metropole for the entire year, including the Summer Tour 2021. No seperate auditions for the Summer Tour 2021 will be held unless unexpected vacancies arise.
